Tomorrow’s hike at Yonah Mountain is cancelled :’(
Wintery weather in the forecast! Didn’t that just happen? Yes. And everybody I know bought a generator, so we should all be really really prepared when this Saturday’s snowstorm hits.
4-7in of snow and gusts of wind up to 35 mph at the destination of tomorrow’s hike.
Despite my general disregard for the art/science of weather forecasting… I think it is for the greater good of THG™, its stakeholders, affiliates, members and supporters that we scratch this one off the calendar and stay warm at home and indoors.
Do not go outside.
But if you spit in the direction of meteorology, tempt fate, and brave the elements, take some pictures of your adventure and share them in the GroupMe! Would love to see it.
